I have the sad duty to report that this evening at about 8:30 a raccoon sneaked into the hen house and, though she put up a good fight, Floppsie has gone to that Ole Hen House in the Sky. RIP Floppsie...we'll miss you.

Oh no - I'm sorry to hear about the attack in the hen house.
Thanks friends. Thankfully we got that coon out of there before he had a chance to get the other ladies. I'm sure 'Moppsie' is going to miss her twin. Jeff is going to the hardware store for a live trap today...there's a bunch of coons in this area about to develop an acute case of 'lead poisoning'.
