Russian Tear Drop - Why Don't We Hear About THIS Stuff?

Everyday we're inundated with garbage.

Burglaries.
Murders.
Conspiracies.
Hollyweird Nonsense.
Divorces.
Diseases.
Politics.
Blame, blame and more blame.

Very rarely do we hear about thoughtful, uplifting stuff.

Like this, in an email from a friend:

 

Ever hear of the Russian Tear Drop?  A memorial gift from the Russian people in 2006.

 

Me neither.

 

I 'Snoped' it to be sure it was accurate, and there was a good deal of information available. 

This monument is inscribed with the names of everyone killed on September 11th, as well as a statement against terrorism.  It's really rather beautiful.  But we don't hear about beautiful, do we?
