Gonna-be peaches.
One corner of the herb garden. I simply love chives...in addition to being tasty, they're beautiful when the purple flowers pop up on top of the green spires.
Massive rhubarb plant. I don't know what I did, but this plant dwarfs the 7 around it. At nearly 4 feet wide, it should be providing rhubarb for cobblers in another week or so.
Hosta, popping up near the garden shed. In another month, this entire bed will be smothered by mint, so enjoy the hosta while you can.
Strawberry plants in their raised bed.
Call this a happy accident. When you fill your raised beds with commercial garden blend, you just never know what will pop up.
Isaac's garden, freshly tilled and topped off with soil leftover from the raised beds. Given his choice of veggies to grow in his own little garden, he's sticking with his favorites: sugar snap peas and yellow pear tomatoes.Happy spring, y'all!!!

How exciting!!!
My planting this year was totally derailed by a severe bout of depression and distraction and overwhelm at the though of defeating my garden's midnight marauders. But my fruit trees are still plugging. The tangello and lemon are LOADED with blooms (and bees!) and the blueberries are holding their own (challenging here in the hot, arid southwest). But it was really cute today watching my 4yo son try to help catch the last of the previous seasons' citrus with a pool skimmer - 1 lb oranges prove trickier to balance than he anticipated!
Loved seeing pictures of your garden! Tell Isaac, those are some of my favorites, too!
