On the downside, this swimming pool is apparently a big lightening rod for Mother Earth's poor sense of humor. We go out Monday and buy our pool, enjoying the nearly 90 degree weather and high humidity. We set up said pool and start filling it, still enjoying the warm, humid weather. Mother Earth sees us enjoying the heat and decides to play a practical joke and drops the daytime high temp by 35 degrees. Maybe tomorrow we'll have a hard freeze and be able to use it for a skating rink instead of a pool...maybe?

Swimmingly
I've said before that we lead pretty simple lives, but who can resist a little bit of summer fun? We found an awesome sale on inflatable pools, so we decided to spoil ourselves a little and take the plunge. After finding a wowwy-zowwy deal (free!) on sand for leveling a spot, we started filling our pool and the kids had a fantastic afternoon...in 3 inches of water. When it's finished and filled, it's 16 feet by 48 inches, so we should get a good deal of use out of it. If our intentions are to live as close to home as possible, doesn't it make sense that home should be as comfortable and entertaining as possible?

We agree about having things for kids around the house so you don't really ned to go anywhere else. We also have a pool sort of like yours. The kids love it. We spend alot of time in it throughout the summer. Have fun with your pool!!
I am hoping to talk Robbie into getting a pool like this. We have a little plastic pool that my inlaws got Clay last year for his 1st birthday, but I would like to get in too :-)
