Had to take an hour or two this morning to hit the Ritchie Bros. auction house, and boy did I have 2 enthralled kids! Mara, at 2, can identify most large equipment on site, er, on sight and Isaac knows all the brands and their color/logo. Crazy stuff.
I was quite surprised that even the noise didn't bother them....the 'humana-bumana' auction dirge sort of grated on my nerves after 5 minutes, but they were so excited about seeing the big rollers and equipment that it didn't bother them in the least.
Again, gotta love little kids with big imaginations....and a penchant for cheap entertainment!
