There's a crime scene in my living room.
The evidence is as follows; gold and red glitter as far as the eye can see, scattered across the floor, the furniture, in hair and on faces. Curling ribbon; mainly reds, greens and golds. Wrapping paper; sparkly, reflective, shimmering. Tinsel and ting-ting. Sparkly snowflakes. Over-sized bulbs.
The Crime Scene Investigators have 2 theories as to what has transpired.
Theory one involves the retribution of disgruntled gnomes on a party of Christmas elves. We all know how gnomes feel about Christmas elves. But who's fault is it that the gnomes got too drunk to make toys and were replaced by elves? Certainly not the elves or the ELF (Elf Labor Front...although we all know the union will take the blame.)
Theory two, a little less feasible, indicates a day-after-Christmas shopping expedition to Walmart. No sane American goes out the day after Christmas to buy wrapping paper and tinsel at 50-75% off the suggested retail price.
Which one is the answer? You be the judge.

How did Jeff like the cheesemaking kit??
I got a mandolin from my roommate (professional cook, so she knew which one was best) as a Christmas present so now it'll be A LOT easier to make beet chips when I get my dehydrator! Yay!
