Before-During-After

I'm not sure what constitutes a boatload exactly, but that aside, I got a boatload of corn yesterday and we spent most of the day today processing.  Thought you'd enjoy the before, during and after of our busy busy day.

BEFORE: 12.6 cubic feet of corn.  How do I know it's 12.6 cf? 

It entirely filled the trunk of my Pontiac G6.

DURING: Mara cleaning corn.

DURING: Mara sick of getting her picture taken.

DURING: Every basket we owned was full of shucked corn.

DURING:  Mr. "I'll help with the corn, but I won't clean up."

AFTER:  21 quarts of canned corn.

10 quarts of frozen 'fried' corn.

2 tired parents.

2 tired kids.

1 sticky kitchen floor.
